It is time to hold an election of officers , and we plan to do so on June 16, at the next DPCA meeting that is scheduled on Zoom( invitation below).
If you would like to run for any of the four offices, please let Val, Shavonne, Cheryl or Dot know. To be a nominee, you must be a paid-up member of DPCA and a resident or business operator within the Dearnley Park territory. Your name will be added to the list. To vote in the election of officers, you must be a paid -up member of DPCA.
An in-person vote will occur on June 17 at our meeting on Zoom. Your support of Dearnley Park Civic Association means a lot.
DPCA has represented and advocated on behalf of our members and our community since our reactivation in the summer of 2024. Our statement of purpose is:
· To develop and maintain an informed community to support decisions that best serve our neighborhood. ·
To stand for and to promote pride and unity in our neighborhood.
· To support enhanced social and economic functioning of our neighborhood.
· To inform the community of future developments in the neighborhood and support maintaining the historical structures and the green spaces of our community.

For Treasurer: Val Hallman
For Secretary: Cheryl Jarvis Johnson.
